Originally created as a response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Community Relief Fund, was established in March 2020 to assist year-round residents of Monhegan Island with critical housing related costs in times of financial need.
Applications are reviewed by a five-member committee appointed by the MISCA Board of Trustees. The current members are: Mia Boynton, Tara Hire, Jackie Boegel, Jim Buccheri, and Wendy Pendleton. Paper applications are available on the Monhegan Post Office bulletin board.
